Propierties and Endowments of Resurrected Bodies
The bodies of those who are resurrected , the Scriptures teach, will enjoy natural and supernatural prerogatives:

a)-immortality (supernatural prerogative), clearly affirmed in I Corinthians, 15:53, Luke, 20:35, Revelation, 21:4, common also to the bodies of the damned;

b)-integrity (natural prerogative), implying the restitution of the limbs, the distinction of the sexes and the perfection of the senses;

c)-the excellent physique and physical beauty (natural prerogative).

The glorious bodies, of which Saint Paul speaks, have four totally supernatural gifts (I Cor. 15: 42-44):

a)- incorruptibility or impassibility, deriving from the perfect submission of the body to the soul, wherefore it will be preserved from any pain (cf. Isaiah, 25:8; 69:10; Rev. 7:16-17; 21:4);

b)-clarity: the bodies of saints will reflect the light, the inner splendor of the soul, therefore, in the body they will conform to the Incarnate Word, according to the words of Christ and the Tradition (Matthew, 13:43; Wisdom,3:7; Daniel, 12:3): “So, the just will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father.” ;

c)-agility, so that the body of the saint, once free from the natural heaviness (impondera-bility), will be able to move rapidly from one place to another in the cosmos (Isaiah,60:31; St. Augustine, Serm. 242:3): this phenomenon will occur through the total submission of the body to the soul, which works not as a form but like a motor;

d)- thinness and the faculty to penetrate everything: the glorious body penetrates, without difficulty nor mutual damage, the other bodies in the Universe.
