| Advice for the Prayer and the Cardiognosis |
|
We have now arrived at the explanations for the correct practice of the meditation in the heart. Allow us to offer some suggestions. The dialogue with Christ must take place in your own heart . This is the inner temple, the garden of the appointment with the supreme among the Masters, where it is possible to see Jesus in all His splendor and beauty in the Light of Mount Tabor, the Light of the Transfiguration. It is here that the Messiah awaits us to give advice, strength and comfort. It is here that will be handed to us the Cup of the Grail overflowing with the water of Life to quench our burning thirst. The Avatar came down on earth, was grafted like a fruitful branch in the living and wild trunk of Humanity, and whoever practices and becomes an expert of Cardiognosis can experimentally verify the real presence of Christ in the heart, in expectancy of new experiences: that of the Cosmic Mother and the Cosmic Father. Who has the ability to go in the heart starting from the brain, from the frontal center, the central seat of the spirit , descending in the innerness of his heart, has followed the advice of the Lord when He said: “Love the Lord God with all your heart and with all your soul” (Matthew, 22:37); “Be watchful, stay awake and pray” (Mark, 13:33); “You are in me and I am in you” (John, 15:4); “The Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke, 17:21). We have intimated that the heart is the Athanor, or the furnace of the Alchemists, where the prima materia is cooked, that is, the intelligible matter of which we are made in our triple innerness. In this heart one must feed the fire of divine love and of the neighbor (Agape); in this heart must be lit the fire which burns all that is dross, or all that is not pure love and pure wisdom. The meditation , that is, the prolonged attention, must be absolute, following the saying of the Psalm of David: “My heart was hot within me; while I meditated, the fire burned.” (Psalm, 39: 3) The work of keeping alight the fire to make the “Philosopher’s Stone” in the heart calls for constancy, patience, faith in the outcome, because success can be had immediately or in time, according to the effort put into the work, to the aptitude gained in the previous lives. The alchemical “Great Work”, that is the birth of the Son of God in our heart, is a childbirth, a travail, well defined by Saint Paul when he says: “….the whole creation groans and is as in the pains of childbirth…..waiting for the manifestation of the children of God” (Romans, 8:22-23). In the restlessness, in the inconstancy, in the apparent abandonment on the part of God or the earthly Master, advised by pessimism and the sowers of discord, you could interrupt the Cardiognosis, the spiritual knowledge of the heart, before arriving at the first solace. The successful outcome is the fruit of the perfect attention which is the harpoon of the will, and the trained will is known by a faultless attention: concentrated and intent like the arrow shot by the archer, who hits the bull’s-eye. The successful outcome is the perseverance: “Persevere in prayer” (Acts, 1:14); “The Kingdom of the Heavens is taken by force” (Matthew, 11:12). “Is taken by force” is more than a mystical concept, it is an Initiatic indication. Therefore, the exercises must be continuous, beginning with 300 invocations a day, then 3,000, then 6,000, to arrive at even 12,000 times a day. At the beginning it will be you who makes the prayer, then it will be the prayer that makes it by itself, spontaneously in the heart, in all the serious and ordinary activities, awake and asleep: a sleep that will be spiritual “insomnia”. excerpt from "ADVICE FOR THE SUCCESSFUL OUTCOME OF THE PRAYER AND CARDIOGNOSIS" from the 11th Booklet |
