| Cardiognosis, The Knowledge of the Heart |
|
This booklet deals with an experience, with a doctrine and a method to know one’s own heart, freeing it from the play of the “opposites”, establishing in it one’s own intelligence illuminated by the Intelligence of Christ: making the heart the theophanic place. Cardiognosis comes from the Greek cardia = heart and gnosis = knowledge, therefore, it is the knowledge of the heart in the metaphysical, mystical and Archeosophical sense; existential knowledge, in faith and love. The doctrine of the Heart and that of the Eye of the Heart are the paths that everyone has to follow to reach the sublime peaks of perfection. The way is long and tiring, and whoever ventures alone often loses the way and arrives late at the doors of the Kingdom. Who has found a Master will arrive earlier, without becoming lost in vain attempts of orientation. Each person who comes into the world is not the same as another. Some are born already mature, evolved or spiritually advanced, others must perfect themselves with the incessant work of ascesis. Ascesis presupposes a theoretical base, or working hypothesis, already mapped out by others who have experimentally lived the way back towards God. This preparation is a study which we have wanted to set out in the numerous booklets and in the Dizionario Enciclopedico di Archeosofia: a study to carry out with tenacious patience, easing it by beginning the practice of Cardiognosis. Practice, with a preliminary training able to give the first contacts with the Divine, is the best way to become enthusiastic and to go ahead in the archeosophical study. For this reason, this booklet presents what is to be done immediately to experiment the first edifying meetings with the “Inner Light ” and the first real dialogue in the secret of one’s own heart with the Master of Compassion, Jesus. This wonderful experience, which we have already lived, could lead you to suppose that nothing further is needed. But, it is not so. Whoever lives in the stress of modern life is hampered by forced interruptions, and, in spite of the bath of Light, the fall can occur, the distrust can be insinuated by the intelligent influence of Evil. The practice of “Cardio-gnosis” is the preparation, the anteroom of another great experience: the abduction to Heaven in the “ Chariot of fire”, as happened to the prophet Elijah (he who was then the reincarnation of John the Baptist): the Merkabah. This experience, lived by Christ on Mount Tabor, in its results is termed “Transfiguration”. The Scriptures veil the eyes of the profane to the great experience of Moses, Elijah and Jesus: an experience that also you must undertake. It has to do with the “Fire of Creation”. excerpts from "WHAT IS CARDIOGNOSIS?" from the 11th Booklet |
