The Holy Grail and the Divine Presence
Man has never been alone, because over him has always watched the Great Architect of the Universe, God with his divine presence. With different names this assistance has always been present, and the symbolism of the Grail can be always discovered in the various schools of heroic, mystical and initiatic spirituality.

Thus this literature was driven by those who knew, inside and outside the Church itself, but it stopped with the suppression of the Order of the Knights of the Temple, who, guided by Saint Bernard who had drawn up the Rule for the Templars themselves, had set out to defend the pilgrims in the Holy Land. The Knights of the Temple, who began as exoteric Christians at the service of the Roman Church, when they met the Knights of Islam, also they guardians of holy sites and holders of an esoteric doctrine, understood other things and became the guardians of the Grail.

Protected on the one hand and attacked on the other, in the very heart of the Church, they were dispersed and for the most part destroyed on the stakes of the year 1314. When the environment suitable for the divine manifestation of the Grail was no more, it moved its epicenter elsewhere.

In certain historical epochs, the Holy Grail manifests itself for what it is, a support of the “divine presence”: a regal hero is entrusted with the task of preparing an earthly seat for it where the mysterious object can be transported from Heaven to earth, in the custody of a certain number of elect knights fired with faith and love.

Those who have won the right to guard the Holy Cup are irradiated by the “divine presence” and can move victoriously against the dark forces of the Chastel Mortel with the intent of establishing a sacrum imperium, a kingdom of spiritual nature. When the times become unfit for the elect knights to operate from the metaphysical world in connection with the chosen knights on earth, then for mankind the Grail is once again lost, invisible, it moves elsewhere, in the pure regions of the ethereal world, on another plane of existence.

It is the time when the divine manifestation hides. The warrior-priest King David in his Psalms often speaks of the hiding of this divine presence.
