Man in his multiple aspects, composed of Spirit , emotive Soul , Eros and energetic bodies , is bound from birth to death to the physical body by an imminent and transcendental power which dwells at the base of the spinal column.

 

This power is the Igneous Power. In other words, the consciousness of a person is kept prisoner in the physical body by two poles, maintained as such by the Cosmic or Adamic Spirit and its Cosmic Power or Eve, that which in Hindu words is equivalent to Shiva and Shakti according to Tantrism, or Yang and Yin according to the Chinese doctrine of Tao.

 
The human spirit is subjugated in the brain by the Adamic Spirit, while at the base of the spinal column the human Eros is dominated and conditioned by the creating power of the Universe, called Eve (= Mother of the Living).

 

The Cosmic Mother Eve, when it is immanent and therefore in each one of us, takes the Archeosophical name of Igneous Power, or Kundalini, if we use a Sanskrit word borrowed from the philosophy of Yoga.

 

This is the force that in gestation cooperates in the formation of the embryo, flowing through the umbilical cord of the mother to the Umbilical Center, to transfer itself definitively to the base of the spinal column in the Basal Center and keeping man asleep or in the state of hypnosis.

 

We say “asleep” because man is truly awake when his attention is turned towards God, and solely to Him. The creation of the world took place with the separation of Adam and Eve (or, if you prefer, of Shiva and Shakti). The duality of the separated Androgen penetrates the entire Universe, and every individual carries the imprint of this polarity of the masculine or solar principle and of the feminine or lunar principle.

In Indo-Tibetan pantheism (which we have excluded and rejected from Archeosophical doctrine, though accepting some principles in common with our views), Eve, on the cosmic scale, is the goddess Shakti, while on the human and personal scale is called Kundalini.

Kundalini keeps the erosdynamic Soul under her control, from which it will be liberated and united with the emotive Soul and the Spirit when the sublimation of the eros is such as to transform itself into spiritual love.

 

The so-called awakening of the Igneous Power, that is, of Kundalini, is a direct way to the Illumination, the object of alchemic and Tantric techniques, but a dangerous way, because the creating power Eve exercises a beneficial or evil influence, helps who is truly wise to acquire liberation from the yoke of matter and from the bondage of sexual yearning, but destroys and overpowers who incautiously attempts her awakening.

 

The presence of the spirit and its power (Adam-Eve) is a presence characterized by the original fall and therefore influenced by Satan.

 

The awakening of the Igneous Power by means of art or method or its spontaneous awakening entails the ascent of this force, inside and along the fluidic canal of the spinal column, the passage through the “subtle Centers” and the arrival at the brain, where Adam dominates and the personal Spirit dwells; but for the impure individual, of poor morality, it is an exposure to the disintegrating action of the ahrimanic and luciferic forces. In fact, the Igneous Power, in the climb from the “Basal Center” meets the first Centers which open the consciousness to the lowest planes of the cosmos, producing dramatic experiences in the experimenter. For the pure individual it is not so, who, helped by the spiritual presence of Christ and the Divinity, triumphantly overcomes the trials.

 

With the bi-sexuality three forces came into action: sexual love, death and reincarnation; three new forces of action, of dissociation and of renewal. With the restoration of the androgynous state, consequential of the normal evolutive state and speeded by ascetic techniques, the above-mentioned subjugations will disappear.

 

The Igneous Power or Serpentine Fire, the power that keeps the erosdynamic soul, with the rest of the Ego, anchored to the lowest center (the Muladhara) which corresponds to the Earth element, that nourishes the ancestral or embryonic life, that drives to reproduction and the fatal condemnation to the wheel of existence, is the key of Freedom and of the theosis or deification.
