Its activity is meta-rational, that is, beyond the rational. It is the will, intellect, memory, intuition of the eternal truths. It has a certain disposition for love, for affection, to feel inclinations. For Archeosophy , it is, essentially, love, silent intercourse with the truth, beauty, goodness, with God; religious and merciful love. In Hebrew, Moses and the Kabbalah call the spirit NESHAMAH, and Origen, with Saint Paul, pneuma. It is the center of spiritual gravity and resides in the brain. It is welded to the emotive soul because it is created of primordial intelligible matter . The spirit can be split from the sinning emotive soul. It is immortal but we repeat that it is separable from the emotive soul when this is hardened to the call from above and so it becomes prey, together with the erosdynamic soul , to the forces of evil. excerpt from "HUMAN SPIRIT" in the 40th Booklet of Archeosophy |
