Articles of the Archeosophical Society (established in Rome 1973)
Art 1. The Archeosophical Society is a free, non-profit cultural organization with the aim of studying and developing Archeosophy [Science of Principles]. Its central seat is in Pistoia, Piazza dello Spirito Santo. Art 2. ”Archeosofica” is a cultural school and a free non-profit association of scholars of both sexes and experimenters of physical and spiritual or ascetic culture, with the purpose of collaborating in a total renewal of the human person, its aims are: a. To study normal and paranormal psychic faculties of the human being and to investigate the unexplained laws of Nature b. To encourage the comparative study of philosophies, religions and the ethical and moral finality of life c. To investigate with the rigorous methods of experimental science the whole Cosmobiological phenomenology, such as solar, terrestrial and cosmic radiation in relation to the human, animal, vegetable and mineral kingdoms. d. To collect documents and evidence of the influence of stars and of the galaxy on the psychosomatic activities and on para-psychological, mystical and para-mystical phenomenology, in order not only to obtain a deep knowledge of the human person, but also to mark out a complete course of biological, psychic and spiritual regeneration e. To form a world wide fraternity of free searcher of the truth, the goodand the right, engaged in ascetic experimentation towards a better knowledge of oneself and the of others, so as to accelerate the spiritual and social evolutive process of the peoples. f. To reawaken the sense of responsibility which culture imposes on every free individual of sound principles and to find a remedy against all that denies the dignity and freedom of the spiritual values, in defense of knowledge and civilization g. To raise in every way the cultural level in every fields of knowledge with the sole purpose of the good of humanity. Art 3. The Association is non-political and independent: is not supported by any political party and refuses any material and spiritual propaganda having connection with any political ideal. Art 4. The Association keeps alive among its members the love of the Homeland and the sense of honor and duty, in every act of private and public life Art 5. The President is in charge for five years, re-eligible. He is represents and directs the Archeosophical Society, both jointly and severally with the Executive Board. The President is elected by the Society’s Members, registered at that time in the different Groups or Sections, who have the faculty of delegating one or more representatives, in a ratio of ten to one; the General Assembly meets in the Central Seat where the election will be decided democratically by the majority of voters. Art 6. The Executive Board has a five-years term of office, re-eligible and is composed by three Members. It supports the President in its executive and representative function. The election of the Executive Council is elected with the procedure laid down for the election of the President. Art 7. The General Assembly of members deliberates on the election or re-election of the President and of the Executive Board, on the amendment of the articles of the association, on the approval of the annual account and on any other matter submitted by the President.. The General Assembly is composed of all the registered members. Each member up to date with the payment of the association's fee has right to one vote and is qualified to be elected for the executive positions, delegation is admitted. Art 8. In towns where more than eight persons apply for membership, the President can authorize the establishment of Section of the Society, which will act under the instructions, rules and directives of the President in accordance with the Society’s principles. The Secretary of each Section, named by the President, accounts to the President for every activity, initiative and action, carried on in relation with the Society’s finalities, and will account to him for the economic situation of the Section every six months. Section Secretaries are also directly responsible for any obligation undertaken by their sections toward third parties [ rental liability, mortgage indebtedness, etc..]. Every obligation will be taken by Section Secretaries in their own name; they will not receive any remuneration for services rendered in the interest of the association, being carried out on a free and voluntary basis. Section Secretaries can be supported by Section Vice-Secretaries. Neither Secretaries nor members of the Society can act as representative of the Association without being provided of an explicit written proxy signed by the President and the Executive Council. Art 9. The request of admission in a section, will be recorded in the Register of Members and involves the iof an annual membership card upon payment of the social fee. Members can be requested to contribute to the reimbursement of expenses of the belonging section and of the Presidency. Such amount of money will be determined by the Section Secretaries. Association fees cannot be neither transmitted nor revalued [la quota non e' trasmissibile ne' rivalutabile?]. Temporary participation to the association's life is not allowed. Art 10. Every six months the Section Secretary will make out a balance-sheet and a report concerning all the activities of his Section, which will be subjected to the approval or the objections of the Presidency and the Executive Board. The President will summon a General Assembly once at year, where the Section Secretaries will present a return concerning all the activities and the balance-sheet of their sections. In that circumstance also a balance-sheet and an annual return of the whole Society will be presented. Art 11. The society’s pool consists in: any movable and immovable property contributed by members, donations, fundings, government and community contributions, sponsorships etc... as long as they are used only to pursue the institutional aims of the Society. In case of dissolution in advance of the Society an Extraordinary Assembly will be called in order to determine the destination and/or division of the Society’s estate to other similar associations or to public interest aims under the provisions of art.3 of Law 23.12.1996/662. No distribution of profit or cash balance is allowed. Art 12. Members, with the exception of the Founder Members, are included in one of the following categories: a) Regular Members are those members who apply for membership, paying the related Association's fee and obtaining the membership card, b) Supporting members are those who undertake to pay a greater fee over the requested one, c) Distinguished Members are those persons or corporate bodies who, with their financial and moral support, give a special contribution to the realization of the Society’s aims and initiatives. The granting of this distinction is in the exclusive power of the Presidency. Art 13. Membership is terminated in case of: a) voluntary written resignation submitted to the pertaining Section, b) unjustified delay in payment of the Association's fee, c) expulsion, deliberated by the Presidency upon proposal by the pertaining Sections. Art 14. Among the instruments destined to diffuse and develop Archeosophy, the Society promotes events, exhibitions, shows, meetings, concerts and the like, provided the non-profit nature of the Society is maintained. The Society can also establish other organically connected associations with the main goal of diffusing some special fields of interest of Archeosophy. Such associations must conform to the fundamental principles expressed in art. 1-2-3-4 of this charter, to which they will remain true, but they will act autonomously and under their own responsibility. The articles of such associations must be submitted to the Archeosophycal Society’s Presidency and Executive Board for examinations in order to control the articles’ lawfulness and congruity. Art 15. The Association's emblem consists in three circles with, in the enter, a five oars caravel in full sail on a rough sea accompanied on top by three five-pointed stars, everything is not coloured with the exception of the three stars which are gold coloured. Between the second and the third circle there is the writing “Archeosophical Society”. Closure Rule: the first sub-paragraph of paragraph. 1 and the entire contents of paragraphs. 2-3-4 of this charter are fundamental and form the basis of he Archeosophical Society. Consequently, said articles cannot be modified, interpolated o excluded. Should these articles be replaced or eliminated, the Society will be deemed terminated, and its dissolution in advance will ensue. As to the remaining articles, proposals of alterations or amendments can be advanced by a minimum of one fifth of the members, and will be submitted to the Presidency and the Executive Board, who will convene a General Assembly. The ensuing decisions will be approved by the General Assembly with the participation of the four fifth of the members, the rules of representation mentioned in par. 7 applying, and with the approving vote of the majority of the General Assembly. |
